Where is the holiday based?

The villa is situated in Gata de Gorgos, very close to Javea on the Costa Blanca. You will be riding many routes in the region, from breathtaking inland mountain trips to shore line Mediterranean rides with stunning sea views.

Do I have to ride every day?

Not at all. If you want a day off riding to relax by the pool or chill out by the beach you are welcome to. It's your holiday!

How much riding is included?

On an average day we will be on the road for about 6 hours, but we take breaks for coffee and lunch, and of course we often stop to take photos of the magnificent scenery. You will cover between 200-300 kilometers each day, but the bikes are comfortable and if you're feeling weary at any time we can pause for a break. It's your motorbike touring holiday so we will stop whenever you want to!

What if the weather is bad?

We are fortunate here on the Costa Blanca to have excellent motorcycle touring weather, but naturally there may be times when it rains. On these days we suggest a trip to Valencia or perhaps a short trip to local towns to discover the delights they have to offer.

If you are concerned about the weather, we recommend that you try and book your holiday when the weather is forecast to be good, by using online weather forecast websites or phone apps.

Spain often has a period of heavy rain known as "The Gota Fria" which usually occurs around mid-September to mid-October. Some years the rain lasts for just a day or two, and sometimes it does not come at all, but we feel it best to warn you of this!

Are there restaurants nearby?

Yes, in Gata de Gorgos there are some local eateries, and close-by in Javea there are many fantastic restaurants and bars. If you opt to eat in more, there are plenty of supermarkets to buy good food at great prices.
